About Us
Purpose
Our purpose at Camden Music Trust is to facilitate participation in music activities by children and young people resident in, or educated within, the London Borough of Camden, and in particular to assist those who face hardship. We raise funds to support activities that are not provided by schools, and which enrich the music experience of children and young people in Camden. Activities are delivered by the Camden Music Service under a grant agreement.

Camden Music Service
The Camden Music Service provides high quality musical opportunities for over 5,000 Camden school children every year, working with all Camden primary and secondary schools and 150 music tutors.
The Service supplies over 25,000 hours of instrumental tuition a year, and runs 40 holiday and weekend music groups. A biennial concert at the Royal Albert Hall involves over 1,800 pupils in celebrating the musical achievement of Camden’s schools and pupils.
Their vision of diversity and inclusivity and focus on making musical tuition more affordable for lower income families has ensured many children have realised their musical potential.
