Information CMT holds about individuals

The information CMT holds is limited to personal contact details such as name, title, addresses, telephone numbers, and personal email addresses.

How CMT uses personal information

CMT will only use personal information where it is necessary for the legitimate interests of the charity.

Payment information given to CMT by donors, such as credit and debit card details, is processed by third party payment providers on CMT’s behalf, and CMT does not store such information in its own files. CMT will share personal information with other third parties only where required by law.

Where a communication is sent to an individual based on their consent, CMT will give the individual the option to revoke their consent and ensure that such revocation is reflected promptly and accurately in CMT’s records.

Data security

CMT has put in place appropriate security measures to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.

Data retention

To ensure that personal information is kept for no longer than necessary, CMT applies an archiving policy for all personal information that considers for how long and why information should be retained.

Right of access to personal information

Individuals have the right to access their personal information. This enables individuals to check the accuracy of the information and that CMT is processing it lawfully.

How to access information or complain

Should you wish to access your personal information, or to complain about CMT’s use of your personal information, you can contact: Chair, Camden Music Trust, care of Camden Music Service, Crowndale Centre, Eversholt Street, London NW1 1BD.
